07 Feb Conscious Breathing Classes for February 2017
Join us for breathing classes and increase your life force energy! Come learn and practice pranayama- breath control. These methods of breath control were developed and honed centuries ago and have relevance for today. Looking to lower your stress, balance your nervous system, increase the capacity of your lungs? You can experience these benefits and more through breathing practice.
The breath is a stress reduction tool which is always available to you! Wherever you go, there you are- and your breath is there with you. Use breath control as a simple but potent key to shift your mood and your physiology. Use this to nurture yourself and open your heart.
These are experiential classes. You will practice a variety of breathing patterns with guidance and observe the effects on yourself. These practices are gentle and you can practice to your own level of comfort. There will be time for questions and sharing experiences. I will provide a handout so participants can continue the practices at home.
Instructor is Diana Simonton, LMT, Kundalini Yoga teacher
Dates: Classes will be held on four consecutive Mondays from 2:00-3:30. February 13, 20, 27 and March 6.
